The pupils in years 5 and 6 had a fantastic day at the National Space Centre in Leicester. After an early start, we arrived and began our fun packed visit. The children programmed Mars rovers using their coding skills and explored the 42 metre high Rocket Tower, learning lots of facts about space exploration along the way. They journeyed through a virtual solar system and experienced life as an astronaut in the planetarium show. There was lots to see and the pupils had a great time learning about planet Earth and our solar system.
