Year 5 and 6 visit to the RAF Museum In Cosford.
The pupils and staff in years 5 and 6 had a fantastic day at the RAF Museum today. They took part in a World War II workshop where they learned about what life was like in Britain during the Blitz. They also learned about ‘smart materials’ and carried out practical investigations into the properties of a range of materials; including lighting up a bulb using a potato! The children were a credit to the school and several of the staff at the museum commented on how polite they were.
