Team behaviour is a group of children who have been trained to support our pupils with their behaviour and wellbeing. The children have worked on the emotion coaching approach and looked at how best they can use their own experiences and understanding to help others.
Some of children have recently attended the Diana Award - Anti Bullying Ambassador training at Himley Hall. This was a fabulous day where children found out more about the impact bullying can have on different children, and adults, and discussed ways to raise awareness of this.
The children have put together an action plan showing areas they want to develop and events they wish to organise. It is important to raise awareness of bullying and make sure children are supported to address it should they ever experience it.
The Diana Award describes bullying as:
'repeated negative behaviour that is intended to make others feel upset, uncomfortable or unsafe'.
